Xoxo Fest – September 10-13, Portland, OR
An experimental festival celebrating independently produced art and technology. Two days of stories from artists and technologists using the Internet to maintain their independence, and the challenges that come with it.
FullConTech – September 15, Seattle
FullConTech is a first-of-its-kind conference from the Washington Technology Industry Association. You’ll get to join a dream team of public officials, educational institutions, community organizations, technology companies, and other leaders from across the state to draft a playbook for Washington’s technology-driven future.
Decibel Festival – September 23-27, Seattle
Founded in 2003, Decibel Festival has become a unique platform for exposing attendees to leading-edge multimedia art from around the globe. With a focus on live performance, interactive multimedia art, state-of-the-art sound and technology based education, Decibel has solidified itself as one of the premier electronic music festivals and promotional organizations in the world.
Seattle.rb Monthly Meetup – September 1, Seattle
Seattle.rb was the first Ruby and Rails user group in North America and has met regularly for over a decade. We convene every Tuesday night to contribute to open source, work on personal projects, and teach and learn from one another. All skill levels are welcome!
Beer&&Code – September 2, 16 & 30, Seattle
Beer&&Code is a coder’s meetup in Seattle. A typical Beer&&Coder likes to use any programming language for work or for fun, enjoy a tasty drink, meet other Beer&&Coders and be a part of a community, and be challenged and learn from others. Whether you are new developer, a veteran, a designer, or none of those, you can hang out at Beer&&Code.
Rust Language Meetup – September 14, Seattle
This is a meetup for Rust enthusiasts. Rust is a fast systems programming language that guarantees memory safety and offers painless concurrency (no data races). It does not employ a garbage collector and has minimal runtime overhead.
Design Thinking & Innovation Collective – September 24, Seattle
Seattle Design Thinking & Innovation Collective aims to bring people together from a wide variety of industries, backgrounds and roles to collaborate and discuss practices, methodologies, tactics and experiences to help us collectively bring innovative ideas to the world.
