AIGA Seattle Changemaker Q&A: How Design Can Advance Your Mission
Join us as we host a panel of last year’s participants to answer your questions on what it truly takes to be a Changemaker.
At this event, we will:
- Have a moderated Q&A session, taking questions from audience members. Our panelists will be comprised of last year’s Series participants, including two creative project team members, two representatives from change organizations/nonprofits and a committee member.
- Discuss the Changemaker Series events, requirements and application process for both organizations and creative project team members.
We’re looking for organizations supporting local immigrants and refugees that want to participate in this series. We would also like project managers, marketers, strategists, content writers, designers, developers, researchers and other people who want to use their skills and super powers for good.
Thursday, March 23, 2017 Designed to Lead: Creating the Digital World
To celebrate Women’s History Month, AIGA Seattle’s Women Lead Initiative presents a five-part series of talks themed Designed to Lead. Join AIGA Seattle for its fourth event, in partnership with Substantial, for a leadership panel featuring female creatives from Microsoft, Gravity Creative, Loxley Digital, Substantial and Amazon Kindle.
The evening is dedicated to discussing how female designers have impacted the digital world–and how they will continue to in the future. Discover which women, creative or otherwise, inspire our panelists and how this inspiration helps them overcome their struggles. These designers will also talk critically about women’s leadership issues and offer their insights and advice.
